In her scientific career she mainly focuses on a theoretical physics approach to the study of disordered systems. She works on disordered materials such as glass formers, developing classical statistical mechanics tools and dynamical approaches to face the challenges peculiar to the description of glassy dynamics. She also investigates similar phenomenology arising in other realizations of disordered systems, such as well-mixed ecological systems, models of opinion formation in modern societies, inference problems and machine learning applications.

She published 33 papers on international scientific journals, 3 conference papers in top-rated conferences on Machine Learning and 1 preface to a special issue devoted to conference proceeding.
