Research: Microbial electrochemical technologies for cheese whey valorization in a circular bio economy perspective

Winner, in November 2023, of the Sapienza doctoral scholarship to be carried out at the Water Research Institute (IRSA-CNR).

In July 2023,I have obtained a master's degree in Biotechnology and Genomics for Industry and the Environment (110 cum laude/110), discussing the experimental thesis, "Single cell analysis of the accumulation of fatty acids and starch in microalgae", under the supervision of Dr. Di Caprio.

In October 2021 I have obtained the bachelor degree in Agro-Industrial Biotechnology (110 cum laude/110), the last semester of the degree was spent, as an Erasmus student, at the Universidad de Córdoba (ES).

Winner of two Erasmus Traineeship grants, carried out as extracurricular internships, one in 2022 and one in 2023. The first at the Universidad de Córdoba, in the Departamento de Genética under the supervision of Professor Antonio Di Pietro. The experimental work concerned the study of interaction of volatile compounds between the pathogenic fungus Fusarium oxisporum and soil bacteria. The second, carried out at La Palma Research centre, concerned scientific communication activities.
