Phd in ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION

Carlo Vannini is an architect, graduated in Rome (Sapienza - University of Rome) with a Postgraduate Master's Degree in Digital Architecture (IUAV – University of Venice). A member of the Order of Architects of Rome and Province, he is currently a PhD student in Architecture and Construction (DRACo) at the Department of Architecture and Design of the Faculty of Architecture (Sapienza - University of Rome). He carries out research activities mainly in the field of Technological Design for the improvement and conservation of the modern and post-WW II building heritage, focusing mainly on public housing, urban quality and public spaces. With a specific focus on innovative design tools and production and construction processes, his research proposal aims to develop methodologies and approaches capable of meeting the challenges posed by the increasingly necessary digital evolution in the processes of the construction field.
