Call for application


The admission test consists of two parts. Before of the oral examination, the Examination Board will assign 30/90 admission point scores (APS) based on the document received and on the evaluation grid published on the web pages of the PhD program. Only candidates with at least 10/30 APS will be admitted to the oral part. Five days before the date of the oral exam the results of the preliminary evaluation will be published on the web pages of the PhD program.
Candidates should indicate the chosen topic among those described in the file "PhD Topics 2021-22"

- Curriculum Vitae
- Pubblications
- Statement of the Second level Degree with grade (list of exams with grade for students expecting to receive their degree by October 31, 2017.
- Any other documentation that could be used for the candidate evaluation
- Motivation letter with indication of the topic chosen Amon those listed in the file "PhD topics 2021-22"(to be used for the interview evaluation)
- Reference Letter(s) (to be submitted by the person signing the letter) (to be used for the interview evaluation)

During the oral exam, the candidate should provide evidence of the personal motivations and attitudes in the specific research fields of the Phd program. The candidate will be evaluated also for the basic knowledge in the field related to the curriculum indicated as preferred in the application. The candidate will be tested to evaluate the level of English knowledge. Both the Motivation letter and the Reference letter(s) will be used during this phase of the procedure for the final score.
