Beatrice Sciarra, born in Rome in 1999, graduated from a Classical High School and began her university studies in Chemistry in 2018. She earned her bachelor's degree in Chemistry in December 2021 and her master’s degree in Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry in May 2024 from Sapienza University of Rome.
During her master’s studies, she spent eight months at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK, funded by two Sapienza scholarships: Erasmus+ and the Thesis Abroad Scholarship. While in Scotland, she worked on an experimental thesis project titled *"A Novel Synthesis Approach for Ginkgolides: Properties, Activities, and Experimental Methodology"*, under the supervision of external advisors Bruno Botta and Stephen Clark, and internal advisor Osvaldo Lanzalunga.
Since November 2024, Beatrice Sciarra has been a PhD student conducting research on the synthesis of natural products in the Organic Chemistry laboratories of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Sapienza University of Rome.
