Research: Design of self-assembling nanomaterials as platforms for Drug Delivery
Beatrice Di Mattia was born in Ascoli Piceno (AP) on April 17, 1999. On October 19, 2022, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" with a grade of 110/110 cum laude. She defended an experimental thesis titled "Composite Hydrogels with Antibacterial Activity: Synthesis and Characterization for Biomedical Applications," under the supervision of Professor Laura Chronopoulou.
On October 22, 2024, she obtained her Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry, specializing in Organic Biotechnology, from the same university, with a grade of 110/110 cum laude. She defended an experimental thesis titled "Synthesis and Formulation of Estrogenic Soft Drugs," under the supervision of Professor Luisa Maria Migneco.
Since November 2024, she has been a Ph.D. scholarship holder at the Department of Basic and Applied Sciences for Engineering (SBAI) at the University of Rome "La Sapienza," under the supervision of Professor Luciano Galantini and co-supervision of Professor Luisa Maria Migneco and Professor Iolanda Francolini.
