Research: New interpretative models for mosaics with hunting scenes
My research is centered on the collection and cataloguing of Roman mosaics with hunting scenes, without geographical limits, between the II B.C. and the VII AD.
Specifically - in addition to the work of collecting and analyzing each single mosaic, a work currently absent - the analysis would be aimed at better understanding the semantic value of the hunting scenes, used to decorate buildings of different nature (private buildings, funeral homes, public buildings, etc.).
