Sociologist of cultural and communication processes, associate professor at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, he studied and worked at the Faculty of Political Science 'Cesare Alfieri' in Florence, at the University of Siena and has taught at the Sapienza University of Rome. He is currently Director of the Master in Social Communication and the Master in Social Farming, and teaches Theory and Techniques of Mass Communications and Sociology of Communication in several degree courses. He is a member of the international doctoral college in 'Social representations, culture and communication' and of the national doctoral college in Theory of contracts, services and markets . He has coordinated 14 European projects (Horizon, ErasmusPlus, , Horizon Home Internal Security Fund, Cerv, DgEcho, DgEnterprise) in the last 7 years and numerous national research and training projects. He is responsible for the bilateral agreement between the University of Tor Vergata and Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (Poland), has been chair of numerous international conferences in South East Asia (Medcom) and has participated in numerous conferences in Europe, the USA and South East Asia. He has carried out visiting visits to Poland, Indonesia and Colombia. He is a member of two international research groups 'Transformations in digital age' coordinated by the University of Granada and 'Narratives and social change' coordinated by Professor Mangone of the University of Salerno. From 2022 to 2024 he was President of the Scientific Didactic Board of the IaD School, e-learning centre of the University of Rome Tor Vergata Over the last ten years he has collaborated with the National Forum of the Third Sector in the construction of training processes for managers of third sector organisations (ETS) in the regions of Southern Italy and has collaborated with numerous national third sector organisations in Italy (among others Auser, Avis, Arci, Acli, Legacoopsocial, FICT) and in Europe (among others Reves network, CAL, Zmergo) He has been an evaluator for the last fifteen years for public and private tenders of provinces, regions, ministries and private foundations He was qualified as a full professor for the scientific field 14/C2 Sociology of cultural and communicative processes
