Alessandro Lampasi received the M.Sc. degree in Electronic engineering from the University of Rome Sapienza, Rome, Italy, in 2002 and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical engineering from the University of Rome Sapienza, Rome, Italy, in 2006.
He is Senior Researcher with the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA) and seconded to DTT S. c. a r. l..
He is responsible of the Coil Power Supply Team of the Divertor Tokamak Test (DTT) facility, including members from 11 research and industry partners. He is responsible of several contracts with private companies for the procurements of electrical and electronic systems for nuclear fusion experiments. He is Coordinator and Leader of the EUROfusion Task "In-vessel Coils Power Supply" (DIV-IDTT), supported by the by the European Agency EUROfusion in the framework of the Horizon Europe (2021-2027) Program.
