Arianna De Gasperis (Rome, 1997) is a second-year PhD student in Documentary, linguistic and literary sciences, curriculum Historical-literary and gender studies, at University of Rome La Sapienza. Her project addresses the role of adventure, wandering and mobility in Carlo Collodi's writings, under the supervision of Professor Monica Cristina Storini and Professor Massimo Fusillo. In 2019 she obtained a three-year degree in Modern Literature from the same university (110/110). In 2022 she graduated in Modern Philology with a thesis entitled "La vittima: un romanzo di Sfinge (Eugenia Codronchi Argeli) (1865-1934)" (110/110 cum laude). Her research interests focus on nineteenth and twentieth century literature (Collodi, Nievo, Buzzati) and on women's literature (Sfinge, Guido San Giuliano, Renée Reggiani, Laudomia Bonanni). She has attendend national, international and doctoral conferences and she has published papers in «Oblio», «Pisana» and «Studi buzzatiani».
