Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering since 2007 (University of Naples "Federico II").
Editorial Board member of the following international journals: "International Journal of Chemical Engineering" (Hindawi Ltd), "Modeling" (MDPI);
Reviewer for several international scientific journals.
Teaching activity: "Computational Methods for chemical and biochemical reactor dynamics" - M. Sc. Course in Chemical Engineering for innovative processes and products, University of Rome “La Sapienza”.

From 2005 to 2017 he carried out teaching activities within the disciplines of the SSD ING-IND / 26 at the University of Naples "Federico II". He was also a lecturer at National Doctoral Schools and tutor of several degree theses.
From 2007 to 2021, he worked at the University of Naples "Federico II", the University of Salerno, and the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
He was a keynote speaker at the conference "Mandelbrot and fractal geometry forty years later", at the University of Messina in 2007 with a speech concerning the role of fractal geometry in chemical reactors.
He is a member of the "High Tech Recycling", since 2021.

His research activity falls within the broad topic of non-linear dynamics of complex systems in Chemical Engineering. It concerns:
I. molecular and coarse-grained dynamics for phase transitions of triglyceride mixtures,
II. multiscale dynamics for the study of polymer melts in elongational flows,
III. development and analysis of stochastic models for the description of non-Fickian transport,
IV. development and analysis of mathematical models for drying food matrices with volume variation,
V. bifurcation analysis and complex dynamics of controlled chemical reactors.
