Antonella Roma was born in Ostuni in 1995.
She attended the Liceo Classico "A. Calamo in Ostuni where she obtained her high school diploma in 2014, following which she enrolled in the Master of Architecture degree program at the Politecnico di Bari. She graduated in 2020 developing an experimental thesis entitled "Alberobello and the Murgia dei Trulli" edited by Prof. Matteo Ieva, a morpho-typological study was produced on the fabric of the historic environmental center of the city of Alberobello, addressing the issues of redevelopment and recovery of historical artifacts in a state of degradation and / or abandonment.
During her university activity, she carried out internship activities functional to the elaboration of the thesis project at the Municipality of Alberobello.
In July 2020 she participated in the XXX edition of the International Seminar and Award of Architecture and Urban Culture where she obtained the Special Mention for the project elaborated within the Thesis Workshop.
In November 2020 she obtains the license to practice as an architect at the Polytechnic University of Bari.
She carries out professional activities in 2020 at an engineering firm and then in 2021 project management activities at an Integrated Engineering Company based in Bari.
In April 2022 she participated in the VIII AACCP (Architecture, Archaelogy and Contemporary City Planning) Symposium Cities in Evolution 2021, where she won the first prize: Best paper of 2021, Requalification of the Historical Fabric of Alberobello.
She is currently attending the Doctorate in Architecture and Construction at the Sapienza University of Rome.
