Research: Embracing the Unknown: a New Framework to Prevent Uncertainty Distress in Adolescents and Young Adults

RESEARCH INTERESTS
Risk and protective factors of psychopathology in adolescents and young adults, with a specific interest in the study of transdiagnostic vulnerability factors (e.g., intolerance of uncertainty and emotion dysregulation).

Longitudinal changes and situation-specific fluctuations in intolerance
of uncertainty in non-clinical and clinical populations through the lens of the Latent State-
Trait theory and analysis techniques.

Development of scales for assessing trait and situation-specific
intolerance of uncertainty, uncertainty distress and uncertainty-reducing behaviours in
non-clinical and clinical populations.

I have been recently looking into potential applications to
clinical psychology of quantitative text analysis with Natural Language Processing and Large
Language Models.
