Research: Exploring the role of Alpha-tubulin N-acetyltransferase 1 (ATAT1) in cancer

February 2018: Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences (Sanitary-Molecular curriculum), at the University of Urbino "Carlo Bo" with grade 101/110 (Supervisor: Prof. Antonino Forabosco).
Thesis title: New perspectives for the primary prevention of genetic diseases.

December 2020: Master's degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology, Italian curriculum (LM-06), Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome with grade 110/110 cum laude (internal supervisor: Prof. Stefano Cacchione, external supervisor: Dr. Erica Salvati).
Internship for the development of the Master Thesis at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Pathology of the CNR (National Research Council), Department of Biology and Biotechnology Charles Darwin, La Sapienza, Via degli Apuli, 4 - 00185 Rome (supervisor Dr. Erica Salvati).
Thesis title: Extra-telomeric roles of TRF2 protein: possible functional interaction with rRNAs.
Thesis topic: Study of the possible interaction between TRF2 (Telomere Repeat binding Factor 2), a protein that binds directly and with high affinity the double-stranded DNA repeats 5'-TTAGG-3' present at the ends of chromosomes, and the functionality of the nucleolus.
