Research: A Study of the influence of Worldviews on Proactive work behaviour
I’m Andrea Mele, a psychologist with a Bachelor's degree in Psychological Science and Techniques and a Master's degree in Methodology of the Psychological Intervention from the University of Salento. My interests include the study of meaning-making processes from a semiotic and cultural perspective.
My research aims to understand how culturally mediated and shared meanings influence proactive behaviour in the workplace. Through a mixed-method approach to analysing workers' experiences, I intend to explore the nature and connections between the different levels of representation active in the workplace. This will be essential in order to focus on how and to what extent they promote or hinder proactivity. This study will seek to shed light on the antecedents and determinants of proactive behaviour, opening up new possible directions for the development of more satisfying and generative professional experiences.
