Research: Chemistry of calcium and sodium batteries
I attended the bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry and a master's degree in Industrial Chemistry, A.R.E.S. (Environment, resources, energy and safety) at the University of Rome La Sapienza. I carried out both internships under the supervision of Prof. Sergio Brutti in the field of thermodynamics of materials for applications in the field of energy storage (in particular lithium-metal, calcium-metal and Ca-ion batteries) using a wide variety of techniques experimental investigation. I carried out the last 3 months of my master's internship, thanks to the Erasmus + Traineeship program, at the Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier (ICGM) under the supervision of Prof. Lorenzo Stievano. After the master's degree I continued to work in the ICGM for the CNRS and the University of Montpellier, deepening my studies in the chemistry of calcium batteries and also gaining experience in the chemistry of potassium, sodium and magnesium batteries. Currently I have started a PhD program in Chemical Processes for Industry and the Environment.
