Alessio Gagliardi is associate professor of Contemporary History at the University of Bologna. His research focuses on Fascism, anti-Fascist movements, the political thought of Antonio Gramsci and social movements in contemporary Italy. He is member of the editorial boards and scientific committees of the journals “Italia contemporanea”, “Studi Storici”, “Le Carte e la Storia”, and member of the scientific committee of the Gramsci Institute Foundation, Rome.
