Research: Novel biotechnological approaches for biodiesel production

01/2022 Holder of a Sapienza PhD scholarship in Chemical Processes for Industry and the Environment at the Nano-biotechnology laboratory of the "La Sapienza" University of Rome under the scientific coordination of Prof. Cleofe Palocci. The research project concerns the immobilization of industrial lipases on graphene oxide nano-sheets for the production of biodiesel.

2019-2021 - Sapienza University of Rome - Master's degree in Industrial and Environmental Genomic Biotechnology with 110 cum laude out of 110. The thesis entitled "Bioremediation of contaminated groundwater using the "bioelectrochemical well": influence of operating conditions on electrogenic biodegradation of toluene" was carried out at the Bioprocesses laboratory of the IRSA-CNR Water Research Institute.
Internal speaker : Prof. Mauro Majone - External speaker : Dr. Federico Aulenta.

2016-2019 Sapienza University of Rome - Bachelor's Degree in Agro-Industrial Biotechnology. The thesis entitled "Isolation and phenotypic characterization of environmental yeasts for the production of fermented beverages: study of resistance to high concentrations of glucose".
Speaker: Prof. Cristina Mazzoni.
