Alessandra Mignolli is Associate Professor of European Union Law at the Department of Communication and Social Research of Sapienza University in Rome. She holds a PhD in International Law of Economics and is a Fulbright Alumna. She is the author of articles and books on several aspects of EU Law and international economic law and has focused her research activity on the external relations of the European Union, including the problem of the coherence of the external action, trade policy and its impact on sustainable development and fundamental rights, the adoption by the Union of restrictive measures against individuals. She had many international experiences as a visiting scholar, especially in the United States. At Sapienza University she teaches courses on EU Law and human rights and the law of the internal market, including the rules governing the digital single market.
