Research: Female rage and postgendered prosthetic memory in modern Anglo-Chinese historical fantasy novel

Aleksandra Mzyk is a PhD candidate in the field of Literary studies at the University of Silesia in Katowice and Sapienza University of Rome. She holds masters degree in English Philology (specialisation in Literary studies). Her PhD project investigates postgendered prosthetic memory in the context of female rage in modern Anglo-Chinese historical fantasy novels. Her interests stemming from her PhD include historical fiction, fantasy, queer and gender studies, memory studies as well as affective studies.
