She holds masters degree in English Philology (specialisation in Literary studies). Her PhD project investigates postgendered prosthetic memory in the context of female rage in modern Anglo-Chinese historical fantasy novels. Her interests stemming from her PhD include historical fiction, fantasy, queer and gender studies, memory studies as well as affective studies.
