Research: Eastern Jewish communities in London (Edot ha-mizrachi) between 1950s -'80s. The case study of the Ohel David Ilford Congregation - Eastern Jewry Community
Agnese Tatì obtained her bachelor's degree (2018) from Sapienza University of Rome in History, Anthropology and Religions, historical-religious curriculum, with a dissertation on the Beta Israel, Jews of Ethiopia. She analyzed the relations of the Jewish Ethiopian community with the Ethiopian Orthodox Majority and, following their emigration to Israel, with the Israeli Jewish communities and rabbinic authorities. In January 2022, she graduated in religious and historical studies at Sapienza University of Rome with a thesis on the history of the Jewish community of Bahrain as part of the project on interreligious dialogue and peaceful co-existence directed by Prof. Alessandro Saggioro. In May 2022, she published a short scientific article for Cemas Sapienza Research Centre entitled "The Role of the Jewish Community of Bahrain from its Origins to the Abrahamic Accords" in Dalla Competizione all’integrazione nel Medio Oriente e Nord Africa- L’impatto degli Accordi di Abramo sugli equilibri regionali. In November 2022, she got a six-month advanced study abroad scholarship from Sapienza University (borsa di studio di perfezionamento all'estero) at Bar Ilan University (Israel), where she attended courses on Rabbinic Judaism and the religious and social history of the State of Israel. She also took two courses in modern Hebrew at an Ulpan school.
