Valeria Costantini is Full Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Economics, Roma Tre University (Italy). Since September 2022 she is the Head of the Department of Economics at Roma Tre. She has been President Elect of the Italian Association for Environmental and Resource Economists (IAERE) in 2022-2023 and she is the current President IAERE for 2024-2025. She is a member of the advisory board of the Italian Interuniversity Research Centre on Sustainability Environmental Economics and Dynamics Studies (SEEDS), and consultant for the trade-climate model of DG Trade of the EU. She is part of the research team assisting the Italian National Research Institute for New Technologies, Energy and Environment (ENEA) for the spatial analysis of energy efficiency for the Italian manufacturing sectors. She has published extensively in several international journals, with main research interests in: climate change policy, monetary evaluation of environmental damage, green technologies, policy mix design, energy markets and geopolitics. Her applied works are based on a portfolio of different methodologies including dynamic panel econometrics for cointegrated non-stationary series, dynamic spatial panel econometrics, Computable General Equilibrium Models (CGE) with GTAP tools. She is involved in several national and international projects.
