Associate Professor of Geography at the CPS Department, University of Turin; adjunct professor of Global Development Studies, University of Helsinki (Finland). She works on development geography, territoriality, urban, social and environmental justice, indigenous and minority human rights, environmental policies, conflicts and feminist and decolonial alternatives. She has coordinated numerous international projects, receiving European funding and from the Finnish Academy and the Italian Ministry of Research. She worked for UNDP and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She currently chairs the “Research” working group of the European COST Decolonizing Development network and is the PI of a PRIN / PNRR on food communities and eco-cultural approaches in Africa and the Middle East.
