Her research activities mainly focus on the relationship between Architecture and Place, aiming to continue the tradition of architectural culture that implies a way of designing rigorously connected to the specificities of the contexts where new architecture or the transformation of existing buildings takes place, whether in urban or natural environments. Attention to the history of a place is considered essential to create the necessary process of continuity between collective memory and contemporary innovation.
