Elisa Ruozzi is Associate Professor of International Law at the University of Turin (Department of Culture, Politics and Society). Her current research interests focus on the jurisprudence of the ICJ, on the law of the Sea, on the international protection of human rights and on jurisdictional immunities of State organs. Elisa Ruozzi graduated in International and Diplomatic Sciences at the University of Turin in 2001 and obtained her Ph.D in International Economic Law at the Luigi Bocconi University in 2006. In 2013 she was Visiting Researcher at the Tsinghua University (Beijing) and in 2019 she was Visiting Professor at the Centre for Transnational Legal Studies (London); she also held several seminars at the University of Lapland (Rovaniemi). She took part to a Horizon Project on energy communities and she currently participates in a National Research Project devoted to legal aspects of the origin of food. Teaching activities focus on International law and the law of the European Union.
