Alfredo Mario Morelli is Associate Professor in Latin Language and Literature at the University of Ferrara (with first-rank qualification). His main interests are Greek and Latin epigram, literary and epigraphic, Hellenistic and Roman elegy, Cicero, Virgil and the Appendix, and Senecan drama. He has published numerous essays and articles (e.g. L'epigramma latino prima di Catullo, Cassino 2000, and Le iscrizioni metriche del Latium adiectum, Roma, Tored 2020). He has been scientific supervisor of the Dictionnaire analytique de l'épigramme littéraire dans l'Antiquité gréco-latine (Université de Strasbourg). With Giuseppe Scandurra, he is coordinator of the Laboratorio per la Pace - Ferrara
