2. Progetto di ricerca: max 45 punti
Ai fini della selezione per il Dottorato di Ricerca, il candidato dovrà presentare un progetto di ricerca in cui dovrà essere ben evidenziata la sua capacità di ideare, organizzare e sviluppare in totale autonomia una ricerca scientifica. Il progetto dovrà avere una lunghezza massima di 10.000 caratteri (spazi esclusi). Il testo in eccesso rispetto ai 10.000 caratteri non verrà preso in esame dalla commissione di valutazione.
2.1. Il progetto, scritto in lingua italiana o inglese, potrà contenere fino ad un massimo di 5 figure e dovrà includere le seguenti informazioni:
a) titolo del progetto di ricerca (max 100 caratteri);
b) obiettivi della ricerca (max 900 caratteri), descrivendo prima l’obiettivo generale e poi individuando l’obiettivo specifico. Nell’ambito di una tematica scientifica, l’obiettivo generale del progetto (“overall objective” oppure “goal” in inglese) consiste nella soluzione di un problema molto generale e rappresenta un traguardo molto elevato (che richiede molto tempo e/o un approccio multidisciplinare). L’obiettivo specifico (“specific objective”) consiste nella soluzione a un problema ben preciso ed è quello che il candidato si impegna a raggiungere alla fine dei tre anni. L'obiettivo specifico, che concorre al raggiungimento dell’obiettivo generale, può avere a sua volta dei sotto-obiettivi, di norma è espresso tramite un sostantivo e non tramite un verbo (è il traguardo, non il percorso) e deve essere SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-bound). Non dovranno essere descritte in questa sezione i risultati attesi durante le singole fasi della ricerca (vedi punti successivi);
c) stato dell'arte con bibliografia essenziale (max 4.000 caratteri) da cui emerga chiaramente la conoscenza degli argomenti trattati e l’individuazione di uno o più problemi aperti a cui il progetto intende dare risposta (con il raggiungimento dell’obiettivo specifico);
d) breve esposizione delle diverse attività (di formazione, ricerca e divulgazione) previste durante i tre anni di progetto (max 5.000 caratteri), inclusa la mobilità nazionale e internazionale. Si sottolinea che nell’arco dei tre anni sarà obbligatorio svolgere almeno 1 mese di permanenza presso università e/o centri di ricerca all’estero;
e) cronoprogramma in forma grafica comprendente tutte le attività (formazione, ricerca, divulgazione e mobilità) previste durante i tre anni di progetto.
2.2. Ai fini della selezione verranno valutati con particolare attenzione:
a) chiarezza e completezza della definizione e della descrizione dell’obiettivo specifico, della strategia utilizzata per raggiungerlo e del cronoprogramma;
b) pertinenza del progetto con gli obiettivi formativi del dottorato;
c) conoscenza dello stato dell’arte e definizione dei problemi aperti;
d)contenuti innovativi del progetto;
e) fattibilità del progetto.
Saranno ammessi alla prova orale solo i candidati che, nell’ambito della valutazione complessiva dei titoli e del progetto, avranno conseguito una votazione minima di 45/60. |
2.1. The project, written in Italian or English, may contain up to a maximum of 5 figures and must include the following information:
a) title of the research project (max 100 characters);
b) research objectives (max 900 characters), first describing the general objective and then identifying the specific objective. In the context of a scientific topic, the general objective of the project ("overall objective" or "goal") consists in the solution of a very general problem and represents a very high goal (which requires a lot of time and / or a multidisciplinary approach). The specific objective is to solve a specific problem and that is what the candidate undertakes to achieve at the end of the three years. The specific objective, which contributes to the achievement of the general objective, may in turn have sub-objectives, normally it is expressed through a noun and not through a verb (it is the goal, not the path) and must be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-bound). The results expected during the individual research phases should not be described in this section (see following points);
c) state of the art with essential bibliography (max 4,000 characters) which clearly reveals the knowledge of the topics covered and the identification of one or more open problems to which the project intends to respond (with the achievement of the specific objective);
