2. Progetto (max 45 punti)
a) titolo del progetto di ricerca (max 100 caratteri);
b) obiettivi della ricerca (max 900 caratteri), descrivendo prima l’obiettivo generale e poi individuando l’obiettivo specifico. Nell’ambito di una tematica scientifica, l’obiettivo generale del progetto (“overall objective” oppure “goal” in inglese) consiste nella soluzione di un problema molto generale e rappresenta un traguardo molto elevato (che richiede molto tempo e/o un approccio multidisciplinare). L’obiettivo specifico (“specific objective”) consiste nella soluzione a un problema ben preciso ed e quello che il candidato si impegna a raggiungere alla fine dei tre anni. L'obiettivo specifico, che concorre al raggiungimento dell’obiettivo generale, puo avere a sua volta dei sotto-obiettivi, di norma e espresso tramite un sostantivo e non tramite un verbo (e il traguardo, non il percorso) e deve essere SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time- bound). Non dovranno essere descritte in questa sezione i risultati attesi durante le singole fasi della ricerca (vedi punti successivi);
c) stato dell'arte con bibliografia essenziale (max 4.000 caratteri) da cui emerga chiaramente la conoscenza degli argomenti trattati e l’individuazione di uno o piu problemi aperti a cui il progetto intende dare risposta (con il raggiungimento dell’obiettivo specifico); d) breve esposizione delle diverse attivita previste durante i tre anni di progetto (max 5.000 caratteri).;
e) cronoprogramma in forma grafica comprendente tutte le attivita (reclutamento, analisi dati, elaborazione tesi) previste durante i tre anni di progetto.
2.1. Ai fini della selezione verranno valutati con particolare attenzione:
a) chiarezza e completezza della definizione e della descrizione dell’obiettivo specifico, della strategia utilizzata per raggiungerlo e del cronoprogramma;
b) pertinenza del progetto con gli obiettivi formativi del dottorato;
c) conoscenza dello stato dell’arte e definizione dei problemi aperti; d)contenuti innovativi del progetto;
e) fattibilita del progetto.
Saranno ammessi alla prova orale solo i candidati che, nell’ambito della valutazione complessiva dei titoli e del progetto, avranno conseguito una votazione minima di 30/60 |

2. Project (max 45 points)
a) title of the research project (max 100 characters);
b) research objectives (max 900 characters), first describing the general objective and then identifying the specific objective. In the context of a scientific topic, the general objective of the project ("overall objective" or "goal" in English) consists in the solution of a very general problem and represents a very high goal (which requires a lot of time and / or an approach). multidisciplinary). The specific objective is to solve a specific problem and that is what the candidate undertakes to achieve at the end of the three years. The results expected during the individual research phases must not be described in this section (see following points);
c) state of the art with essential bibliography (max 4,000 characters) which clearly reveals the knowledge of the topics covered and the identification of one or more open problems to which the project intends to respond (with the achievement of the specific objective); d) brief presentation of the various activities planned during the three years of the project (max 5,000 characters);
e) time table including all the activities (recruitment, data analysis, thesis processing) foreseen during the three years of the project.
2.1. For the purposes of the selection, particular attention will be paid to:
a) clarity and completeness of the definition and description of the specific objective, the strategy used to achieve it and the time schedule;
b) relevance of the project with the educational objectives of the doctorate; c) knowledge of the state of the art and definition of open problems;
d) innovative contents of the project;
e) feasibility of the project.
Only candidates who, in the context of the overall evaluation of qualifications and the project, will have achieved a minimum score of 30/60 will be admitted to the oral exam. |

Prova orale
Alla prova orale vengono ammessi i candidati che abbiano conseguito una valutazione minima di 30/60 (titoli e progetto).
Qualora il numero dei candidati lo rendesse necessario, la Commissione di valutazione proseguira la prova orale nei giorni successivi a quello previsto per l’inizio della stessa.
Durante la prova orale verranno approfonditi i vari aspetti riguardanti il progetto proposto, il CV e i titoli presentati. Contestualmente, si svolgera anche una verifica della conoscenza della lingua inglese. La prova orale sara superata solo dai candidati che avranno ottenuto una votazione minima di 30/60. Il punteggio minimo complessivo per l’inserimento nella graduatoria finale e di 60/120.L’ammissione al Dottorato di Ricerca e subordinata alla disponibilita dei posti previsti dal bando. |

At the same time, there will also be a verification of the knowledge of the English language. The oral exam will only be passed by candidates who have obtained a minimum mark of 30/60.
The overall minimum score for inclusion in the final ranking is 60/120. Admission to the PhD is subject to the availability of the places specified in the call. |
